Job summary

Palomar, a rapidly growing insurer, seeks a Chief Technology Officer to lead our R&D team and partner with the CIO on developing the technical strategy to execute the corporate vision. You will oversee Application Development, Data & Analytics, and strategic technology partnerships, manage the annual budget, ensure SOX and regulatory compliance, and drive AI adoption across business processes.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and a proven ability to deliver innovative, scalable platforms

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent executive technology leadership experience.
• Experience delivering strategic technology initiatives and business outcomes.
• Experience as CTO or in a senior technology leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams responsible for Application Development, Data & Analytics, and strategic technology vendor partnerships.
• Develop, maintain, and oversee the technology, data roadmap, and annual budget to support objectives.
• Provide updates to the Executive Leadership Team on technology priorities and performance.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with goals.
• Attract, develop, and retain top technology talent while building leadership pipelines.
