Job summary

47 Brand is seeking a Close to Market Production Art Designer to create graphics for headwear and apparel across leagues within key account programs, SMU, and Hot Market products. You will collaborate with the Close to Market Design team, Product Managers and Licensing to ensure accuracy, meet deadlines and drive design growth opportunities.

This role emphasizes quality control, license compliance, and producing production-ready artwork in Illustrator on Mac, with strong multitasking and detail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, experience with Apparel or Headwear Graphics preferred.
• Strong Adobe Illustrator knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Mac platform experience.
• Strong multitasking and problem solving skills and deadline driven.
• Strong Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate ’47’s Apparel & Headwear collections for various accounts using graphic templates from CTM Design and logo identity sheets.
• Complete production art requests from Product team, Sales Representatives and Customer Service in a timely and accurate manor.
• Make applicable customer requested revisions and league licensing revisions.
• Meet Hot Market artwork deadlines and maintain art turn time standards
• Work directly with the CTM manager & designers on design growth opportunities, product boards, and graphic options
• Assist on headwear and apparel graphics for larger product programs
• Review and complete license changes/revisions on the artist dashboard
• Oversee the reviewing of headwear samples / stitch outs
• Communicate with domestic headwear manufacturer’s daily
• Ensure all aspects of the finished product (logo size, colors, materials, verbiage, aesthetics, and overall production quality) match the artwork/spec sheets
• Stay current on licensing guidelines and restrictions

The Close to Market Production Art Designer is responsible for creating graphics for ’47 headwear and apparel styles across all leagues within key account booking programs, SMU, and Hot Market products. Working cross functionally with the Close to Market Design team, Product Managers, and Licensing, the Close to Market Production Art Designer will play an integral role in achieving efficiency, accuracy and meeting deadlines for hot market product lines, key accounts, and chase product initiatives.

Production Artwork & Design

• Translate ’47’s Apparel & Headwear collections for various accounts using graphic templates from CTM Design and logo identity sheets.
• Complete production art requests from Product team, Sales Representatives and Customer Service in a timely and accurate manor.
