Responsibilities

• Manages graphic designers and monitors their daily workload
• Ensure that the accuracy and integrity of all artworks meet the company’s brand standards
• Maintains consistent support for Brand and PM’s to foster stronger relationships both internally and externally
• Conduct seasonal line reviews with designers to review processes needed for a clear and cohesive workflow
• Review all new graphic packages with Graphics Team to ensure accuracy & quality
• Relay workload progress, issues and concerns to Design leadership
• Inspire and instill a creative working environment with all direct reports
• Work alongside PM’s and Key Account Sales team to create SMU’s
• Translate project briefs from PM’s, design graphics and submit to PM’s for approval

Design Manager - Graphics

Reporting to the Senior Graphic Manager or equivalent position, the Design Manager - Graphics is responsible for all aspects of the apparel graphics designing process while assisting with strategic planning and executing said plan. Effectively & efficiently manages the design process to ensure Seasonal Collections are translated accurately and in a timely fashion

Management

• Manages graphic designers and monitors their daily workload


• Ensure that the accuracy and integrity of all artworks meet the company’s brand standards


• Maintains consistent support for Brand and PM’s to foster stronger relationships both internally and externally


• Conduct seasonal line reviews with designers to review processes needed for a clear and cohesive workflow


• Review all new graphic packages with Graphics Team to ensure accuracy & quality

Graphic Design

• Research new graphic trends for seasonal product lines and key brand moments


• Collaborate with Design Team on new innovative graphics for all collections


• Understand ’47 Brand consumer, brand-positioning, competitors, and relevant brands in the marketplace


• Responsible for creating, broadcasting and driving seasonal Graphic Creative Direction


• Produce presentation materials that communicate the concepts and inspiration behind them


• Ensure all designs appropriately reflect ’47 Brand’s design philosophy and standards


• Utilize research and design skills to create original, innovative designs
  
• Adhere to the design calendar and specific timelines


• Finalize all templates and review with design, development, and production


• Partner with Brand and PM team in order to get the best possible products developed


• Translate ideas from concept into actual, on-brand graphic packages

SMU’s

• Work alongside PM’s and Key Account Sales team to create SMU’s


• Translate project briefs from PM’s, design graphics and submit to PM’s for approval


• Provide information and guidance to product team as needed
