Job summary

UW Health East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI is seeking an RN Care Team Leader (CTL) to lead a nursing team in a fast-paced setting. You will coordinate staffing, admissions, transfers, and discharges on a day/evening schedule with no on-call requirements.

100% FTE, day/evening shifts scheduled Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 6:30pm. No on-call requirements. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking an RN Care Team Leader (CTL) to:

  • Be a front-line nursing leader with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Previous OR experience is required.
  • Assess unit needs and ensure adequate resources for current and upcoming shifts, collaborate with other departments (both clinical and non-clinical), and coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges in a timely manner.

Qualifications
  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing Preferred
Work Experience
  • OR experience is Required
  • 2 years relevant nursing experience Required
  • 3 years relevant nursing experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin Required
  • CPR certification Required
  • National certification in relevant specialty Preferred
