Job summary

UW Health’s University Hospital in Madison, WI seeks a Care Team Leader to guide nursing teams on a 90% FTE schedule. You will act as a clinical resource, collaborate with the unit manager to set patient-centered goals, and help manage the unit to ensure safe, high-quality care. The role includes on-call weekends/holidays and varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have active RN license in Wisconsin.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 180 days.

90% FTE Monday - Friday, 12-hour shifts. Start times between 7:00am-8:00am. Weekend and holiday on-call requirement, on-call shifts may be day or night based on department needs. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing Preferred

Work Experience

• 2 years relevant nursing experience Required
• 3 years age-appropriate surgical services experience Preferred
• 2 years prior leadership experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered Nurse Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ability to obtain within 180 Days Required
• National certification in relevant specialty Preferred
