Caterpillar is seeking a hands-on Assembler for the Sanford team in North Carolina. You’ll follow documented procedures to assemble and adjust parts, support lean manufacturing, and operate power tools to move heavy components.

This is a 3rd shift role with a starting pay of $19.44 per hour, plus benefits starting Day ONE and a quarterly bonus potential. Posting notes include comprehensive benefits, PTO, holidays, and 401(k); candidates should be able to lift up to 35 lbs and complete cycle

• Cross-train across work areas and learn new work areas.

Shift Schedule

• 3rd Shift: Sunday night-Friday morning 10:15 pm – 6:15 am (Boone Trail)
• 3rd Shift Starting Pay: $19.44 hour (includes 8% premium)

As An Assembler At Caterpillar You Will

Basic Requirements

• 6 months of previous work experience

• Willing and able to perform repetitive operations
• Willing and able to lift to 35 lbs.

Top Candidates Will Also Have

• Prior experience with hand tools or power tools
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Heavy equipment machine assembly experience
• Previous work experience operating an electric hoist to lift more than 35 lbs.
• Proven track record of good attendance and work history.
