Job summary

4Front Credit Union seeks a Chief Technology & Innovation Officer (CTIO) in Traverse City, MI, to lead enterprise technology, cybersecurity, data, and digital capability initiatives. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will translate emerging tech and data opportunities into practical organizational strategies that support sustainable growth and member value.

This role requires executive leadership, governance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, cybersecurity, information systems, business administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of advanced education and directly relevant executive experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Align technology strategy with organizational priorities and long-term growth.
• Ensure secure, reliable, scalable enterprise systems and infrastructure.
• Maintain cybersecurity, business continuity, disaster recovery, and technology risk programs.
• Deliver strategic technology initiatives with measurable business impact.
• Drive automation, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
• Govern data and analytics to enable informed decision-making.
• Adopt AI and emerging tech responsibly with business value.
• Support member service through dependable technology experiences.
• Demonstrate sound financial stewardship of technology investments.
• Govern vendor relationships and third-party risk with governance.
• Develop and mentor the Technology & Innovation team for future leadership.
• Provide clear, timely information to executives and the Board on strategy, risk, and opportunities.
