Job summary

Responsibilities include coaching teachers, guiding curriculum, managing data and Perkins V compliance, promoting equity, and collaborating with families and community partners. Starting Jan 4, 2027, this full-time role requires a Bachelor's degree and NC licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a current continuing professional North Carolina license in one of the CTE areas.
• Five years of related work experience within the past eight years.
• Ability to coach teachers and lead professional development for adult learners.

Responsibilities

• MAJOR FUNCTION: Instructional Coaching and Professional Development
• The coordinator improves instruction for all CTE teachers through an instructional coaching model and provides ongoing, sustained professional development.
• MAJOR FUNCTION: Curriculum and Programs of Study
• Advises schools on course codes, types, status, academic levels, and SOCA; coordinates proofs of learning and credentials.
• MAJOR FUNCTION: Data, Accountability, and Perkins V
• Supports CLNA, data reporting, and uses performance data to drive improvement toward Local Application goals.
• MAJOR FUNCTION: Equity, Access, and Special Populations
• Ensures participation of all populations in CTE activities and fosters inclusive learning environments.
• MAJOR FUNCTION: Leadership, Advocacy, and Collaboration
• Demonstrates leadership, advocates for CTE, and connects career development with academics.
