Job summary

Match High School & Career Center is a tuition-free public charter school in Indianapolis seeking a CTE Instructional Assistant to support instructors and students in college and career readiness. The role covers classroom instruction, labs, and pathway activities to build credentials and career-ready skills.

You will work with diverse learners, assist with assessments, and help maintain a safe, organized learning environment, while supporting career-focused projects and partnerships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or credential preferred.
• Experience working with high school students, preferably in a CTE or educational setting.
• Ability to work with diverse learners.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate assigned sections of Preparing for College and Careers.
• Provide instructional support to individual students and small groups.
• Assist with differentiating instruction and assessments; monitor progress.
• Support pathways, career exploration, and student resumes.
• Maintain safe, orderly classroom and lab environments.
