Job summary

The Match High School & Career Center in Indianapolis is seeking a CTE Instructional Assistant to support pathway instructors and help students build academic, technical, and employability skills for college, careers, and the workforce.

You will assist with preparing materials, differentiating instruction, monitoring progress, and coordinating pathway activities, internships, and credentials to expand career-connected learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree, technical certification, industry credential, or relevant college coursework preferred.
• Experience working with high school students, preferably in a CTE, workforce development, or educational setting.
• Ability to work with a diverse range of backgrounds and learning needs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to provide instructional support to individuals and small groups.
• Demonstrated classroom management skills in classroom, laboratory, and shop settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support under the direction of the CTE Director and pathway instructors.
• Differentiate instruction and help students complete pathway requirements and credentials.
• Assist with preparing materials, labs, and learning experiences; support classroom technology use.
• Support career pathways exploration, internships, and work-based learning activities.
• Monitor student progress and maintain records related to credentials and pathway completion.
