The teacher will manage classroom behavior, communicate with families, and participate in ongoing professional development within a supportive district environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in subject assigned.
• Valid Texas Teacher Certificate in English as a Second Language (ESL) - Required for all Core Subject Teachers.
• CTE Teachers: Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with required endorsements or related training for DOI.
• Prekindergarten and Kindergarten Teachers: Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood.
• AED and CPR certificates as required for Physical Education teachers.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement lessons aligned with the District curriculum and TEA guidelines.
• Collaborate with Special Education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Plan instruction considering diverse student needs and learning styles.
• Maintain student behavior in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct.
• Establish professional relationships with parents and the community.
• Participate in staff development and district committees.
