Job summary

TIMBER CREEK HIGH in Keller, TX seeks a Teacher - CTE Health Science for the 2026-2027 school year. You will provide students with engaging Health Science instruction, develop lessons reflecting TEA guidelines, assess learning, and collaborate with SPED, ESL, and content teams to promote high student achievement.

On-site duties include classroom management, parent communication, and participation in staff committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in subject assigned.
• Valid Texas Teacher Certificate in ESL – Required for all Core Subject Teachers.
• CTE certification/endorsements or related training for DOI without discipline restrictions.
• Prekindergarten/Kinder certificates where applicable; AED/CPR for PE roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with appropriate learning activities in Health Science.
• Develop and implement lesson plans reflecting TEA guidelines.
• Assess student learning styles and plan instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with SPED, ESL, and content teachers to support diverse learners.
• Establish professional relationships with parents and community members.
• Maintain classroom management and safe learning environment.
• Participate in staff development and district committees.
