Qualifications

• Completed application through Teach in Alabama.
• Valid Alabama teaching certificate or eligibility to obtain one in Technical Education – Graphic Arts.
• Minimum associate degree in Graphic Arts/Graphic Design or related field, or industry certification.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
• Knowledge of design principles and digital media production.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Alternatives to qualifications may be required by the Board.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes and follows the Limestone County School Continua of Skills.
• Plans, prepares and delivers instructional activities.
• Develops schemes of work and lesson plans.
• Establishes clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Manages classroom safety and discipline.
• Maintains accurate records and submits required reports.
• Participates in department and school meetings and communicates with students/parents.
