Job summary

IDEA Public Schools seeks a Career and Technical Education teacher for grades 8–12, delivering state-approved curricula across clusters such as Agriculture, Information Technology, Health Science, and more. You will plan rigorous lessons, assess student progress, communicate with families weekly, and contribute to a collaborative, college-for-all culture at IDEA’s campuses in Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• K-12 classroom experience preferred.
• State certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement state learning standards and IDEA curricula and assessments.
• Deliver grade level content and assessments, track progress.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Communicate students' progress with families weekly.
• Use technology to enhance learning and manage tasks.
• Maintain a consistent behavior management system aligned with campus initiatives.
• Engage in tutoring sessions after school or on Saturdays as needed.
