Job summary

Columbus City Schools in Columbus, Ohio seeks a CTE Curriculum Coordinator to provide instructional leadership by evaluating and implementing evidence-based curriculum and instruction. The coordinator will guide programs of concentration and design professional development for career awareness and exploration.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio teaching certification/licensure.
• Recommended five years of successful teaching experience in Columbus City Schools.
• Valid drivers license and willing to become van certified to transport students when needed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of course standards and alignment to industry experiences and labor market trends.
• Develop, collaborate and create curriculum resources in Canvas or other LMS systems.
• Provide leadership and direction on quality CTE programs by working with administrators and teachers to understand programs of concentration.
• Serve as CTSO contact for programs of concentration.
• Coordinate and facilitate workshops for CTE VM Instructors.
• Present, organize and facilitate summer, evening or weekend school, community or industry events.
• Provide direct services to students and teachers involving career awareness and exploration.
