Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado Teaching License within 60 days from date of hire.
• Highly qualified in applicable content area per CTE requirements.
• Fingerprint-based background check required.
• Effective English communication in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Provide varied classroom techniques to promote high levels of achievement.
• Demonstrate instructional methods aligned to course goals and student outcomes.
• Prepare daily lesson plans and activities aligned to standards.
• Explain grading standards and communicate progress to parents and students.
• Maintain records of student progress and family communications.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional learning communities.
• Use current technology to differentiate instruction and support learning.
