Job summary

School District 233 is seeking a qualified educator to serve as the primary instructor for computer applications courses such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. The role requires an Illinois PEL or CTE Educator License with endorsements and the ability to teach dual credit courses.

Qualifications

• Must hold Illinois PEL or CTE Educator License with endorsements.
• Credential for Work-Based Learning (WBL) to teach WBL courses is required.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards is expected.
• Two years teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary instructor for computer applications courses (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Deliver engaging, research-based instruction and monitor student progress daily.
• Possess ability to teach dual credit courses with fidelity.
• Collaborate with administration to prepare progress reports and adjust instruction.
• Communicate regularly with families about student development.
• Incorporate 21st-century technology in daily classroom practice.
• Support mandated state testing annually.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
