Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking an End of YEAR Coordinator, CTE Career Development for the 26-27 school year. The role focuses on growing work-based learning, coordinating MYEP partnerships and CCP opportunities, and guiding pathway development across CMS middle and high schools.

The coordinator will design professional development for CTE teachers, support counselors, and build strong industry connections to prepare students for college and careers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CTE program area or Master’s in Counseling.
• 1 year of industry-related work experience in business, industry, or education-related coordination.
• Eligible for CTE Career Development Coordinator license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Work-Based Learning, including internships, field trips, job shadows and speakers.
• Liaise with Mayor’s Youth Employment Program and industry partners.
• Develop and implement professional development for CTE teachers on career guidance.
• Engage with counselors to align pathways and CCP opportunities.
• Manage CCP opportunities and articulate credit for pathway students.
• Promote and track CCP and pathway outcomes with campus and central office.
• Support CPP and pathway cohorts and communications with families.
