Job summary

Under the principal’s supervision, you will lead a competency-based Business Education program, guide student projects, assess progress, and maintain records per CMS and NCDPI policies. Collaboration with teachers and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required in a related field.
• 24 credit hours in the Content area are required.
• Passing the NC SBE Licensure Area Exam is required.
• Completion of NCSBE Pre-service Requirements is required.
• CTE Restricted Licenses require a Bachelor's Degree.
• Two years of relevant work experience within the past five years is expected.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and teach a competency-based CTE program in Business Education.
• Create and plan effective curriculum-based projects and activities.
• Use data to assess student progress and adjust instruction.
• Provide information and counsel students regarding employment and further education.
• Collaborate with staff and administrators on staffing and scheduling decisions.
• Maintain records and follow CMS/NCDPI policies.
