RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Senior Principal Engineer to serve as the Command, Telemetry, Control (CTC) IPT Lead for the M2C2 program on the Aurora, Colorado campus. The role focuses on planning, development, integration, and test, ensuring milestones, cost, schedule, and technical performance are met.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams on Defense/Intelligence programs.
• Experience managing large teams (>30 people).
• Experience driving cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps Development.
• Experience presenting to executives and communicating effectively.

Responsibilities

• Execute the CTC component within cost and schedule.
• Innovate to modernize the CTC software baseline.
• Develop and hire staff to execute the CTC component.
• Provide strategic leadership for deployment to operations CTC baseline with low risk.
• Coordinate with leadership and stakeholders on scope definition and cost estimation.
• Prepare and present technical briefs to internal and external stakeholders.
• Work in an Agile program environment.
• Work in a classified lab on site in Aurora, Colorado.
