Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform quality diagnostic exams and assist with OR procedures, including portable and C‑arm imaging, with CT coverage later in the evening.

You will communicate with Radiologists on protocol changes, adhere to ALARA and Image Wisely principles, and ensure timely patient exams while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered in X-ray is required.
• Experience: 5+ years in OR/diagnostic and 1 year in CT preferred.
• Licensed as Medical Radiologic Technologist – General by Texas DHHS.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Willing to participate in departmental call rotation.
• Must be available to work holidays and other shifts as needed.

Job description

Performing quality diagnostic exams, performs OR procedures including portables and C-arms, assists with Fluoro-guided procedures as needed in the department, and covers CT exams later in the evening. Performs patient exams on time. Safely operates ALL X-ray equipment following manufacturer’s guidelines and ALARA. Prepares the patient’s room with needed supplies and medications/contrast. Provides history and communicates with the Radiologist regarding protocol changes. Provides essential Imaging services for the department. Practices Image Gently and Image Wisely on ALL exams.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered in X-ray
• Preferred (5) years in OR/diagnostic and (1) year of experience in CT
• Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist – General License
• Current BLS Certification
• Willing to participate in the Departmental Call Rotation
• Must be available to work holidays and other shifts as needed
