Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic exams and assist with OR procedures, including portables and C-arms. The role includes Fluoro-guided procedures and later CT coverage in the evenings.

Responsibilities include safe operation of X-ray equipment per ALARA, room prep with supplies and contrast, relaying patient history to the Radiologist, and ensuring quality imaging services for the department.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration in X-ray is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Willing to participate in the Departmental Call Rotation and work holidays and other shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality diagnostic exams and OR procedures including portables and C- arms.
• Assist with Fluoro-guided procedures as needed in the department and cover CT exams later in the evening.
• Safely operate all X-ray equipment following manufacturer guidelines and ALARA.
• Provide history and communicate with the Radiologist regarding protocol changes.
