Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist to perform radiographic procedures to high standards under appropriate supervision. You will operate CT/X-ray and related equipment, collaborate with Radiologists, and ensure patient safety and accurate documentation.

The role requires ARRT radiography certification, LSRTBE licensure, and BLS/CPR. Duties include quality control, training, and maintaining equipment in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Maintains proficiency in using CT/X-ray and peripheral equipment and in performing CT/X-ray protocols.
• Demonstrates knowledge of PACS and radiology workflows.
• Maintains high-quality scans and communicates with Radiologist.
• Complies with hospital policies, safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical radiologic services according to standards.
• Review scans with Radiologist and document findings.
• Maintain equipment, rooms, and supplies.
• Train and evaluate trainees per hospital policies.
• Ensure patient safety and consent and obtain clinical history.
• Explain procedures to patients and family members.
• Perform ancillary tasks to support department operations.
• Input and verify data in PACS/RIS.
