Job summary

Sanitas in Hillsborough, FL is seeking a CT/X-ray Technologist to support the CT scanner and Diagnostic Imaging. The role emphasizes safety, accurate imaging, and adherence to facility protocols.

The candidate will participate in QA, handle patient communication, and ensure images are properly archived and transferred to PACS. On-site, full-time shifts with travel as needed, and ongoing credentialing requirements.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• 1 year of experience required.
• Active State of Florida license required.
• Active AART certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic images using appropriate CT and X-ray protocols.
• Participates in QA activities and maintains patient logs and RIS forms.
• Keep repeat/retake percentage under 7% of images monthly.
• Understand CT workflow, image processing, archiving, and sending images to PACS, with accuracy.
• Ensure patient safety including pre-screening for radiation contraindications and aseptic injections when needed.
• Able to perform IV insertions after training and credentialing.
