Job summary

Sanitas Medical Centers seeks a CT/X-Ray Technologist to perform imaging duties and support diagnostic imaging workflows. You will generate high quality images using appropriate scan protocols, participate in QA, and ensure patient safety through pre-screening and aseptic techniques.

Responsibilities include maintaining RIS logs, PACS transfers, and accurate documentation while collaborating with clinicians to communicate findings and improve departmental metrics.

Qualifications

• Produces high quality diagnostic images.
• Knowledge of proper scan protocols to visualize anatomy.
• Maintains patient safety with pre-screening and aseptic techniques.
• Participates in QA activities including patient logs and RIS forms.
• IV insertion after training and competency.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic images with proper scan protocols.
• Participates in QA activities including patient logs and RIS forms.
• Keep Repeat/Retake percentage below 7% of all images monthly.
• Understand the process of computed radiology, image processing, archiving, and sending to PACS.
• Ensure patient safety including pre-screening for radiation contraindications and aseptic injection techniques.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and providers regarding findings.
