Job summary

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA, is seeking a full-time CT/X-ray Technologist for a day shift. You will perform CT imaging under physician supervision, maintain imaging quality, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

ARRT or CNMT certification required; CT registry within 2 years; BLS. Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus. You will operate CT equipment, document exams, adhere to radiation safety standards, and participate in department quality initiatives.

• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology (Required).
• Certification/Licensure: ARRT or CNMT (Required).
• Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire.
• BLS

Responsibilities

• Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician.
• Provides patient and family education.
• Operates equipment safely.
• Completes department documentation.
• Maintains all equipment to be clean and operational.
• Maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA, is seeking a full time CT/X-ray Technologist to work a full time, day shift schedule. Up to $15,000 Sign On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates!

Provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards.

• Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician
• Provides patient and family education
• Operates equipment safely
• Completes department documentation
• Maintains all equipment to be clean and operational
• Maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations

Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines.

Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.

Education and Certification

• Education: Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology (Required)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $38.74 - $58.21 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
