Overview

City/State South Boston, VA Work Shift Third (Nights) Overview: Sentara is currently hiring a CAT Scan Technologist II in Halifax, Virginia. This is a Full-Time, Night shift opportunity with great benefits. A 30K bonus is available to qualified candidates. As a CAT Scan Technologist, you will provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician;
• Provides patient and family education;
• Operates equipment safely;
• completes department documentation;
• maintains all equipment to be clean and operational;
• Maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.
• Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines.
• Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.

Qualifications

Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology ARRT or CNMT is required, BLS Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire.

Compensation

base pay range for full-time employment is $38.74 - $58.21 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
