Job summary

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA seeks a Flexi/PRN CT Technologist to perform CT imaging under physician supervision. You will follow protocols, educate patients, and ensure safety while maintaining equipment and inventory in a patient-centered environment.

Required Radiologic Technology training, ARRT or CNMT, and the ability to obtain ARRT CT within 2 years. BLS and 2 years radiology experience are also required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Education: Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology (Required).
• Certification/Licensure: ARRT or CNMT (Required).
• Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire.

Overview

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA, is currently hiring a Flexi/PRN CT Technologist to join our team! Provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $38.74 - $58.21 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
