Job summary

ZoomCare is seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. You’ll work 3 twelve-hour shifts every 60 days in a modern clinic with state-of-the-art imaging equipment, alongside emergency physicians and imaging staff in the Portland area (Lake Oswego and NE Portland).

Qualified candidates hold ARRT, OBMI license, and BLS with CPR; one year CT and X-Ray experience and phlebotomy certification are required. Per diem positions involve day/evening work with no overnights.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered radiologic technologist credential required.
• State license holder (OBMI) required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in both CT and X-Ray.
• BLS with AED CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Phlebotomy certification and venipuncture knowledge.
• Can easily navigate a computer and learn new software.
• Available to work at Portland Area Super Clinics (Lake Oswego and NE Portland).

Responsibilities

• Work day or evening shifts, no overnights required; shifts may be 12 hours.
• Apply professional judgment and critical thinking to diagnose imaging procedures.
• Review patient history and supporting clinical information.
• Maintain patient privacy under HIPAA and facility policies.
• Assist with daily CT and X-Ray facility operations.
• Perform quality control to ensure CT scanner operates at optimal levels.
• Operate PACS and maintain facility reports and logs.
• Ensure examination results meet QA standards before release.
• Collaborate with coworkers, admins, and health-care team.

ZoomCare is seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis! Work a minimum of (3) 12 hour shifts every 60 days (no overnights required)! As a member of our team, you’ll work alongside a dynamic group of Board Certified Emergency Physicians, Imaging Technologists, and Associates, delivering superior imaging services in a new, modern clinic equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• - Work day or evening shifts, no overnights required! ZoomCare Supers are open every day from either 8AM - 8PM or 10AM-10PM.
• - Apply independent, professional, ethical judgment, and critical thinking to safely perform diagnostic procedures.
• - Review patient medical history and supporting clinical information.
• - Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA) and facility policies, and procedures.
• - Assist with the daily operation of the CT and X-Ray facility.
• - Perform quality control procedures to ensure that the CT scanner operates at optimal levels.
• - Exercise responsibility to ensure that the CT scanner is functioning accurately.
• - Operate the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
• - Exercise responsibility for the maintenance and accuracy of facility reports, database records, and logs.
• - Ensure that the CT or X-Ray examination results meet the facility standards for Quality Assurance before findings are released for interpretation.
• - Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers, administrators, and members of the health care team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• - ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist
• - State license holder (OBMI)
• - 1 year minimum experience in both CT and X-Ray
• - Competent and able to perform all routine and specialized CT and X-Ray examinations
• - Current BLS w/ AED training CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
• - Certification in phlebotomy; knowledge of venipuncture, ability to locate an accessible vein, and to draw a blood sample
• - Can easily navigate a computer and learn new software
• - Available to work at both Portland Area Super Clinics (locations in Lake Oswego and NE Portland)

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

• - Hourly Pay Rate: $48-57 dependent on experience

WORKING CONDITIONS

• - Vaccinated against COVID-19
• - Vaccinated against Hepatitis B., MMR, PPD, Varicella (Chickenpox), TD/TDAP (clinic roles only).
• - Fit tested for an N-95 mask, must be clean shaven where the respirator seals to the face for fit testing or when wearing the respirator (clinic roles only).
• - Must wear a mask as needed (clinic roles only).
