Job summary

ZoomCare is seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our imaging team on a per diem basis. You’ll support same-day imaging across our Portland area clinics, performing CT and X-Ray with professional judgment and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include reviewing patient history, safeguarding privacy, and contributing to daily operations and QA. Must have ARRT, a state license, and BLS with AED CPR within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered radiologic technologist credential required.
• State license (OBMI) valid in Oregon or eligible.
• BLS with AED CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT and X-Ray examinations with independence and professional judgment.
• Review patient history and supporting clinical information.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA policies.
• Assist daily operation of the CT and X-Ray facility.
• Conduct quality control to ensure CT scanner operates optimally.
• Operate PACS and maintain accurate facility reports and logs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure QA before results release.

ZoomCare is seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis! Work a minimum of (3) 12 hour shifts every 60 days (no overnights required)! As a member of our team, you’ll work alongside a dynamic group of Board Certified Emergency Physicians, Imaging Technologists, and Associates, delivering superior imaging services in a new, modern clinic equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Work day or evening shifts, no overnights required! ZoomCare Supers are open every day from either 8AM - 8PM or 10AM-10PM.

• Apply independent, professional, ethical judgment, and critical thinking to safely perform diagnostic procedures.

• Review patient medical history and supporting clinical information.

• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA) and facility policies, and procedures.

• Assist with the daily operation of the CT and X-Ray facility.

• Perform quality control procedures to ensure that the CT scanner operates at optimal levels.

• Exercise responsibility to ensure that the CT scanner is functioning accurately.

• Operate the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

• Exercise responsibility for the maintenance and accuracy of facility reports, database records, and logs.

• Ensure that the CT or X-Ray examination results meet the facility standards for Quality Assurance before findings are released for interpretation.

• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers, administrators, and members of the health care team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist

• State license holder (OBMI)

• 1 year minimum experience in both CT and X-Ray

• Competent and able to perform all routine and specialized CT and X-Ray examinations

• Current BLS w/ AED training CPR certification required within 30 days of hire

• Certification in phlebotomy; knowledge of venipuncture, ability to locate an accessible vein, and to draw a blood sample

• Can easily navigate a computer and learn new software

• Available to work at both Portland Area Super Clinics (locations in Lake Oswego and NE Portland)

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

• Hourly Pay Rate: $48-57 dependent on experience

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Vaccinated against COVID-19

• Vaccinated against Hepatitis B., MMR, PPD, Varicella (Chickenpox), TD/TDAP (clinic roles only).

• Fit tested for an N-95 mask, must be clean shaven where the respirator seals to the face for fit testing or when wearing the respirator (clinic roles only).

• Must wear a mask as needed (clinic roles only).
