Job summary

UMass Memorial Health Alliance-Clinton Hospital, Inc. is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scan examinations in inpatient and outpatient settings, with QC and accurate recordkeeping.

The position requires ARRT/NMTCB CT certification and MA licensure, working under a Radiologist or ER Physician. The role includes scheduling flexibility, potential signing bonus eligibility, and a commitment to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
• ARRT or NMTCB certified in diagnostic CT.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
• Verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Properly performs all CT scan examinations appropriate to the age of the patient in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, consistent with departmental and professional standards and protocols.
• Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records.
• Accurately completes all records, paperwork and billings and submits promptly.
• Positions and transfers patients appropriately and assists physicians with interventional exams.
• Promptly and properly completes exams, performs QC on images and appropriately sends exams to PACS for the physicians to review.
• Under the direction of a Radiologist or Emergency Room Physician, performs CT exams using contrast media according to department policy and procedures.
