Job summary

AdventHealth in Aurora, CO is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to join the imaging team. You will perform CT and diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

The role requires ARRT RT(R) certification, BLS, and radiologic experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree is preferred. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ radiologic experience and CT experience required or preferred.
• Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT RT(R)) and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and performs daily quality assurance checks on imaging equipment.
• Sets up and adjusts CT equipment according to protocol and radiologist instructions.
• Assesses patients to determine proper handling and requirements.
• Explains procedures to patients and prepares them for exams.
• Administers contrast or substances to enhance imaging as needed.
• Reviews requests with radiologist to ensure accurate imaging and results.
• Performs quality control on images, maintains inventory, and adheres to safety rules.
• Attends required safety training and complies with exposure control plans.
