Responsibilities

• Maintains and performs daily quality assurance checks on imaging equipment.
• Sets up and adjusts equipment according to protocol and radiologist instructions.
• Accepts and assesses patients to determine proper handling and requirements.
• Explains and prepares patients for the requested exam.
• Administers and assists in administering contrast substances when needed.
• Reviews patient charts with the radiologist to ensure proper examination and results.
• Performs quality control on images and maintains inventory and safety compliance.
• Participates in training personnel and handles basic clerical tasks.
