Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA, is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures, position patients, inject IV contrast, and operate imaging equipment to support radiologic diagnosis.

The role requires graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program and ARRT CT registration within one year of hire; excellent interpersonal and technical skills are essential. Travel to other Carilion facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; graduate of approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• AHA-BLS-HCP required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures and apply prescribed ionizing radiation.
• Operate CT equipment and position patients for quality images.
• Inject IV contrast and assist with scheduling, registration, and file processing.
• Travel to other Carilion facilities as needed.
• Train students and staff as assigned.
