CP01 Carilion Medical Center in Roanoke, Virginia seeks a CT Technologist to operate specialized equipment for radiological diagnosis. Responsibilities include performing IV contrast injections, evaluating and positioning patients for scans, and coordinating care with healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must be CT registered within one year of hire.
• ARRT registry required.
• AHA-BLS-HCP certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to obtain high quality images.
• Perform IV contrast injections.
• Evaluate and position patients for scans.
• Interpret patient information and provide care per policy and procedures.
• Coordinate plan of care with healthcare team.
• Assist with scheduling, registration, file management, and computer processing.
• Train students and staff as assigned.
• Travel to other Carilion facilities as needed.
