Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a weekend CT Technologist to perform routine and advanced CT radiologic procedures at an experienced level. You will administer IV contrast under supervision, prepare written documentation, and ensure patient safety and comfort while collaborating with the care team.

The role requires an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT or NMTCB CT certification upon hire, and BLS. On-call duties may apply; health benefits and career mentoring are offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years of progressive responsibility in a diagnostic imaging department.
• ARRT Registered Technologist-Computed Tomography or NMTCB certification upon hire.
• Basic Life Support upon hire.
• Accredited program in radiologic technology and CT procedures upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT Scan studies; obtains patient history, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns.
• Administers intravenous contrast media under physician supervision; recognizes and treats contrast reactions.
• Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations.
• Positions and transfers patients, ensuring radiation safety and comfort.
• May be on-call to meet department needs (on-call requirements defined by hospital).
• Maintains CT protocols, 3D reconstruction, scanner QC, and related procedures.
• Mentor for CT Technician and CT Tech I.
