Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform advanced CT radiology procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will administer contrast under physician supervision and ensure patient safety while operating CT equipment and maintaining accurate EHR documentation.

Responsibilities include case scheduling, patient positioning, image archiving, and mentoring junior staff. On-call duties may apply, with comprehensive health benefits and PTO offered.

Qualifications

• Performs CT scans and related procedures with attention to safety and accuracy.
• Proficient in administering intravenous contrast under physician supervision.
• Familiar with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation requirements.
• Maintains and uses imaging equipment and PACS for image archiving and retrieval.
• Preceptor/Trainer capabilities for students/new technicians as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs all CT scan studies with patient history and explanation of procedures.
• Schedules cases and coordinates with other examinations.
• Positions and transfers patients; adheres to radiation safety protocols.
• Executes basic to advanced CT examinations and reconstructions.
• Mentor for CT Technicians and students; on-call as needed.
• Maintains readiness and participates in policy training and safety programs.
