Job summary

WellSpan Health in Waynesboro, PA is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Diagnostic Radiology team for full-time night shifts. You will perform routine and advanced CT procedures, coordinate with staff, and ensure patient safety and QC practices.

The role requires mentoring CT Tech I and CT Technician, and you may take on-call duties per department needs. Experience in a diagnostic imaging setting, ARRT CT or NMTCB CT certification, and BLS are required, with strong emphasis on patient care

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years progressive responsibility in diagnostic imaging required.
• ARRT CT or NMTCB CT certification required and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT Scan studies; obtains patient history and documents per department policy.
• Administers IV contrast under physician supervision; recognizes and handles reactions.
• Schedules cases to coordinate with other examinations.
• Positions patients, ensures safety, and maintains QC procedures.
• Mentor CT Technician and CT Tech I as needed.
• Archives images and exams to the PACS system.
• Attends department meetings and contributes to process improvements.
