Role Overview: CT Technologist

CT Technologists perform computed tomography exams to produce images for interpretation and assist in interventional and therapeutic procedures, under the direction of a licensed practitioner.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Provide optimal patient care, remaining sensitive to patient needs through assessment and monitoring.
  • Accurately receive, relay, and document all orders in the medical record.
  • Properly use and understand all departmental equipment and devices.
  • Have knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians.
  • Work effectively within a team environment.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Current Indiana Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT (R)(CT) registry required, or obtain ARRT (R)(CT) within one year of hire.
