Job description

UPMC Presbyterian is seeking full-time CT Technologists to join the team. We offer rotating shifts, including Daylight, Evening, and Midnight shifts, with weekend and holiday coverage required.

Available shifts include:

• 7am - 3pm
• 9am - 5pm
• 7am - 7pm
• 9am - 9pm
• 3pm - 11pm
• 11pm - 7am
• 7pm - 7am

The department provides advanced imaging services for neurology/stroke, cardiac, transplant, and trauma patients. Ideal candidates enjoy a technologically advanced environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing CT procedures with established protocols, including contrast administration.
• Using complex imaging equipment for data acquisition, analysis, and documentation.
• Ensuring exams are properly coded, tracked, and archived.
• Administering contrast media and assessing patient risks.
• Reviewing patient history and physician orders to optimize imaging results.
• Documenting patient information accurately.
• Demonstrating proper venipuncture and use of power injectors.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology school or accredited CNMT program.
• ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist or CNMT.
• Must obtain CT Board Certification within 18 months.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Act 34 clearance.

Experience Level: 2 years of CT experience required for advanced roles, with performance reviews supporting promotion eligibility.
