Job summary

Southeast Health seeks a skilled CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic CT scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will prepare patients, operate CT systems, administer contrast, and produce clear images for radiologist review.

Responsibilities include enforcing ALARA, maintaining records, and collaborating with physicians to support accurate diagnoses. ARRT/NMTCB registration within 12 months and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a diagnostic imaging program approved by ARRT or NMTCB.
• Registered ARRT or NMTCB within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans with attention to radiation safety.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging to optimize results.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and communicate findings to radiologists.
• Maintain documentation in medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Operate CT equipment and perform routine QA checks.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to support timely diagnosis.
• Respond to patient emergencies during imaging procedures.
• Participate in ongoing education and quality assurance programs.
