Job summary

RadNet is seeking a CT Technologist Trainee in the United States to join a dedicated Radiology team. You will support CT imaging operations, learn positioning, safety, and contrast administration under supervision, and participate in ongoing training to grow into a certified CT technologist.

Qualifications

• Must have current ARRT(R) and State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• Must obtain ARRT (CT) certification and/or applicable State CT license within required timeframe.
• Completion of an accredited Radiology program required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Venipuncture certification preferred; if not held, must obtain within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Assists with preparing patients for CT exams and explains procedures in a courteous and professional manner.
• Learns proper positioning techniques, immobilization methods, and safety procedures for CT imaging under supervision.
• Observes and assists with administering contrast media (after venipuncture certification and under supervision).
• Supports technologists with image processing, PACS transmission, and quality assurance checks.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA guidelines.
• Participates in educational activities and on-the-job instruction to gain competency in CT imaging.
