RadNet is seeking a CT Technologist Trainee to join a dedicated team delivering quality imaging services. You will assist with CT exams, learn positioning, and support contrast administration under supervision, while maintaining patient care and privacy.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT(R) and state licensure, are pursuing CT certification, and have completed an accredited radiology program. Training includes HIPAA compliance, equipment operation, and ongoing education in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT(R) and State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• Must obtain ARRT (CT) certification within RadNet policy or state regulations.
• Completion of an accredited Radiology program required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Venipuncture certification preferred; if not held, must obtain within required timeframe.
• Ability to learn and apply specialized CT equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing patients for CT exams and explain procedures.
• Learn positioning techniques, immobilization methods, and safety procedures for CT imaging under supervision.
• Observe and assist with administering contrast media under supervision.
• Support technologists with image processing, PACS transmission, and QA checks.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in educational activities and on-the-job instruction to gain CT competency.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared.
• Provide professional and compassionate care throughout imaging.
• Complete administrative tasks and data entry as assigned.
• Perform other related duties while learning the full CT Technologist role.
