Job summary

RadNet in Baltimore, MD is seeking a CT Technologist Trainee to join our team and train toward CT imaging certification. Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00–4:30 with hours varying by training and operational needs.

You will assist with preparing patients, learn positioning techniques, observe contrast administration under supervision, support image processing, and help maintain safety and HIPAA compliance. Must have ARRT and State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology; completion of an

Qualifications

• Must hold ARRT(R) and State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT).
• Completion of an accredited Radiology program is required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
• Venipuncture certification is preferred and should be obtained if not held.
• Demonstrated ability to learn specialized CT equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assists with preparing patients for CT exams and explains procedures professionally.
• Learns positioning techniques, immobilization, and safety procedures for CT imaging under supervision.
• Observes and assists with contrast administration under supervision when applicable.
• Supports technologists with image processing, PACS transmission, and QA checks.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Participates in on-the-job training to gain CT competency.
• Keeps exam rooms clean, stocked, and prepared for procedures.
• Performs administrative tasks and data entry as assigned.
