Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a CT technologist to perform high quality CT examinations for a wide patient population under physician interpretation. The role requires graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registration, and SC licensure, with BLS current.

The position is based in Charleston with a 40-hour work week and an onboarding sign-on component for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• 0 to 2 years of modality-specific work experience, at least 1 year of X-Ray experience.
• ARRT Registration (R) required.
• ARRT CT Registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position.
• Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required (AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent).

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.

Experience: 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience, at least 1 year of X-Ray experience.

Required Registration/Certification:

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), required.
• ARRT CT Registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position.
• Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHArecognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
