Job summary

Independence Health System in Unity Township, PA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography examinations and provide high-quality patient care for Latrobe, Frick and Westmoreland Hospitals. You will operate CT equipment, assist radiologists, and ensure safety and accuracy throughout imaging procedures.

Requirements include ARRT certification, completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program, and current BLS. Travel between facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program recognized by ARRT.
• Current ARRT registry and CPR/BLS per American Heart Association.
• Six months experience as Radiologic Technologist (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations to produce diagnostic images as directed.
• Verify patient identity and order details; obtain consent where required.
• Prepare patient, equipment, and shielding per protocol; administer contrast when needed.
• Monitor patient during procedure and document findings and parameters.
• Send images to PACS and document in RIS/PACS records.
