Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations on neonates through geriatrics for interpretation by a physician.

The candidate must graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology, hold ARRT (R) with CT registration within 1 year, be licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards, and maintain BLS certification; 0–2 years’ radiology experience preferred with X-Ray background.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• 0–2 years of modality-specific work experience, with at least 1 year of X-Ray experience.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R).
• ARRT CT registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position.
• Licensure from the SC Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize all CT resources to perform high-quality CT examinations for diverse patient populations.
