Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking CT Technologists to operate advanced CT imaging systems and support high-quality patient care in a busy radiology department.

Position features include a 36-hour weekly schedule (Sat-Mon, 7:00AM–7:30PM) with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $5,000 relocation assistance, plus shift differentials and call pay. ARRT CT registration must be obtained within 1 year, and SC licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience, at least 1 year of X-Ray experience.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), required.
• ARRT CT Registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position.
• Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or American Red Cross CPR/Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CT imaging resources to perform high-quality CT examinations.
• Provide CT imaging services for patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
• Ensure accurate and efficient imaging for physician interpretation.
• Maintain image quality standards and follow established CT protocols.
• Deliver compassionate patient care while ensuring patient safety during examinations.
• Operate CT equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
