Job summary

Tenet-AZ Region in Peoria, AZ seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT and radiology procedures and to support vascular, interventional, and invasive exams. The role requires operating sophisticated CT equipment, maintaining equipment QC, and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• ARRT Technologist certification is preferred.
• Ability to perform duties of ARRT Technologist when not performing CT.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of radiological procedures, including vascular, invasive, interventional and CT procedures.
• Operates CT equipment with proper start-up, calibration, troubleshooting and QC.
• Maintains communication with radiologists and ensures proper patient positioning.
• Pre-procedure assessment, consent and documentation before IV contrast.
• Assists in evaluation of new procedures and equipment.
• Handles billing/charging with computer systems.
