Job summary

Tenet-AZ Region in Tucson, AZ is seeking a CT Technologist Level II to perform diagnostic CT procedures in a busy radiology department.

You will prepare patients, administer contrast, position exams, and verify orders to ensure accurate, high-quality imaging.

The role requires 2 years CT experience, graduation from an accredited radiology program, ARRT CT certification within 2 years, and adherence to safety and HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years experience in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist). ARRT- CT; MRTBE CTCT (AZ Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners). Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures for diagnosis according to radiologists' protocols.
• Prepares and positions patients and selects appropriate parameters.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope and regulations.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Maintains knowledge of 64-slice CT scanners and advanced imaging techniques.
